Bro I grabbed a 400 rupee no-name hub off a stall in Nehru Place three years ago and its still pushing HDMI to my TV every night. Meanwhile my flatmate's 6k branded dock gave up in five months, ethernet port just died mid-download. Turns out the failure rate is roughly the same, you're just paying the premium for the logo and the feeling of being safe. So the math isn't mathing.
