Gaming handheld docks like the ROG Bulwark DG310 are a scam, isang murang USB-C hub lang ang sagot

Ananya Khanna6h

Bhai that "masisira agad" line is literally the brand's marketing script, a dead hub every year still costs less than one 6k dock with RGB you'll stare at twice. Paying premium for a plastic brick with a logo is the real scam, not the 500 peso one

Isha Pillai5h

Bhai that "dead hub every year" math collapses the second a 500 peso hub cooks your charging port and the board-level repair bill is bigger than the dock you were too cheap to buy.

Marcus Wilson3h

Who says the 6k dock can't fry your port?

Kavya Reddy5h

Bro I grabbed a 400 rupee no-name hub off a stall in Nehru Place three years ago and its still pushing HDMI to my TV every night. Meanwhile my flatmate's 6k branded dock gave up in five months, ethernet port just died mid-download. Turns out the failure rate is roughly the same, you're just paying the premium for the logo and the feeling of being safe. So the math isn't mathing.

Sipho van der Merwe3h

Bought two of those 500 peso hubs for my kitchen tablet setup and both cooked themselves within four months, one melted the plug housing enough that I smelled it across the line. Meanwhile the branded dock I got secondhand is on year three, still pushing video and ethernet without a hiccup. Your flatmate's dock dying is bad luck, mine dying twice in a row is a pattern. Cheap hubs fail at the port and the power delivery, not the chipset, and that's exactly where the premium money goes.

Ifeanyi Oyelaran4h

Nah, cheap hubs outlast those overpriced RGB bricks, stop the cap.

Kristine Flores13h

Tama. Tapos sasabihin nila future proofing haha.

Angel Cruz13h

Sabi mo scam, pero yang Shopee hub mo mas mlaaking scam, daming nasisiraan ng device dyan 🙄

Karan Mehta13h

That's crap, a USB-C hub doesn't fry your handheld, the unregulated charger people pair with it does, so blaming the hub is just cope for overpaying on a branded dock with RGB

Diego Khan9h

Nobody's device dies from a hub that just passes through power, the thing that fries your gear is cheap sketchy chargers, and you're blaming the wrong 500-peso purchase.

Dev Malhotra8h

So the hub never passes that sketchy charger's power?

Sarah Simon7h

So the hub's a power conditioner now, and the sketchy charger doing the actual frying gets a free pass, bro?

Mathieu Leblanc5h

No, your sketchy charger already set the voltage before the hub ever sees it, so the hub is just dumb copper and you are blaming the wrong 500 pesos

Cap. Seen a cheap hub cook a board, backfeed is real

Angel Villanueva13h

Ifeanyi Oyelaran1h

Monitor has no ads. Smart TVs are billboards, fr
