A four leg bet builder has correlated outcomes, so the bookie stacks extra margin on top of the normal one and the edge on that slip is way fatter than on a straight win, which is exactly why they shove it into your feed every weekend. Saying the bookie does not get paid either way is technically true for one bet and completely useless when the product is engineered so the payout almost never lands. Typing all that about margins just to defend an 11-1 is wild, my guy, a slip is not a bargain just because the vig is legal.
