Ang buong Pilipinas todo celebrate sa Manila-Saipan comeback ng PAL na parang malaking tourism W. Walang ganyan. US territory ang Saipan, laging kulang sa tao ang mga hotel, construction at healthcare dun, kaya ang unang sasakay sa eroplanong yan ay OFW at contract worker, hindi yung mga turistang puno ng IG story. At para sa akin, mas okay pa yun. Yung padalang pera ng isang caregiver o construction worker sa Saipan, mas malaki ang ambag sa pamilyang Pilipino kaysa sa kahit anong tourism boost na pinagsasabi ng press release. Yung arrival numbers na ipinapakita sa atin, wag na tayong maglokohan, pinipiga yan para magmukhang malakas ang economy habang palubog naman tayo sa utang.

Lol the "show me the hiring data" demand is backwards, nobody publishes a tidy spreadsheet of every unfilled shift in Saipan and that doesn't make the shortage imaginary. If you need a press release to believe a tiny US territory cant staff its hotels and clinics, that's a you problem, not everyone else doing drama.
