An 11-1 bet builder is a mug's product, a plain Arsenal win is the only bet on that card

Bookies dont price four legs at 11-1 out of generosity, they price it because it lands about as often as a lottery ticket with extra steps. Anyone publishing a 'prediction' with eleven outcomes attached is selling you hope and getting paid either way.

Funny how no tipster ever posts their running total. The 11-1 is bait for affiliate links, the bookie gets paid either way and you fund both of them

The bookie does not get paid either way, bro, that is literally the entire business model of an overround, and waving off an 11-1 as a rigged coin toss just tells me you have never once looked at a margin in your life

Camille Tomas3h

Overround is not the flex you think it is, bro. A four leg bet builder has correlated outcomes, so the bookie stacks extra margin on top of the normal one and the edge on that slip is way fatter than on a straight win, which is exactly why they shove it into your feed every weekend. Saying the bookie does not get paid either way is technically true for one bet and completely useless when the product is engineered so the payout almost never lands. Typing all that about margins just to defend an 11-1 is wild, my guy, a slip is not a bargain just because the vig is legal.

Nah bro, they post running totals constantly, they just quietly delete every week the acca eats dirt and screenshot the one Sunday it landed

Congrats on the groundbreaking exposé, next you'll blow our minds by revealing that free spins aren't actually free

Taylor Jackson46m

Posting a running total only for the weeks you win isn't a running total bro, its a highlight reel, and the affiliate link in the bio is the actual business model

Yaar ye toh full scam hai 💀

Bhai bilkul, ye tipster log apna commission nikal ke tumhe hope bech rahe hain, aur jab slip phans jaaye toh "process trust karo" bolke next post daal dete hain. Jisko 11 leg ka acca lagta hai usko seedha paisa jalane ka shauk hai, bookie ko weekend free mein funding karne se better hai Arsenal pe straight lagao.

Scam nahi hai bhai, scam hota toh bookie tumhe 11-1 de hi nahi raha tha, ye bas maths hai jo tumhare against kaam karta hai

Aditya Verma4h

Scam nahi bhai, mug tu hi hai

Gurpreet Jain37m

Scam nahi hai bhai, bookie ne odds khud saanme likh ke deta hai, asli scam toh woh khud karta hai jo 11 legs wale card ko easy money samajh ke apna paisa jala raha hai

Nobody mentions the affiilate links paying them

My twelve leg builder landed in March, so your maths is off.

Sipho van der Merwe7h

One twelve legger landing in March doesn't make the maths wrong, it makes you the guy they paid so you'd keep telling everyone the maths is wrong. Survivorship bias is a hell of a drug, go count the other eleven months of slips you binned

Alfie Davies35m

Cope. One hit is an anecdote, not maths.

Every sports page is now just odds and tipsters dressed up as journalism, and we treat it like harmless fun. Gambling ads land hardest on the blokes who cannot afford a loss and the bookies know it. Whole thing is a public health mess.
