Travel·on Record number of tourists in Japan and I'm still saving for the visa fee

Tokyo being the whole point is exactly the lazy tourist mindset that keeps every hostel in the city booked out and prices stupid. The whole point of going somewhere is seeing the place, not queueing with a thousand other people for the same temple shot you already saw on five feeds. Half the country is cheaper and emptier and you'd rather pay triple to stand in Shibuya crossing like it's a ride at a theme park.
