Nah, that logic is backwards, the tilak was never about the guest's belief, it's the host doing their thing in their house, so wiping it in the car isn't proof that rituals are optics, it's proof you wanted the blessing without the balls to own it. If your whole stance is that a ritual only counts when the host is watching, you've made your own spine the ritual, and that's a you problem, not a metaphysics problem bro
