AITA for calling my cousin a hypocrite at dinner over his desktop fusion take?

He saw the Cambridge Heavy Industries desktop fusion news and started doing his little laugh about vapourware, so I told him he's the same guy who swore EVs would never work and he only talks big from the couch. Now the whole family says I ruined dinner. AITA for not nodding along to a bad take?
