Load management is why I stopped watching the regular season, and I am not coming back
Sit out a Tuesday game in November so you feel fresh in April. I understand the logic. I also understand that I paid for a ticket to see the guy on the poster, and the guy on the poster is in street clothes on the bench holding a smoothie.
Back in my day a man played hurt, and yes, some of that was stupid, but at least the night meant something.
The analytics crowd told US rest wins rings. Fine. It also emptied my living room on a Tuesday, and I am not paying to watch a spreadsheet run up and down a court.
