Rioters turned Limoges' 153 year old town hall into ash and JD Vance is already blaming immigration

That place went up in 1873 and survived both world wars, and now the roof has collapsed because people are that furious about the cost of living. It started as high school kids in Paris' northern suburbs protesting crap conditions, then it went nationwide and over 1,200 people got arrested. Vance calling this an immigration problem is a grift, and Trump joking that "France seems to be good for revolutions" while a civic landmark burns is not the flex he thinks it is. Be furious at the government all you want, but torching a 153 year old building just hands every right wing grifter the talking point for free.

Nobody called them freedom fighters, you built that strawman and then beat it up in your own head. Prices as a cover for wrecking stuff is the laziest riot take on the timeline, like people need a secret excuse to be pissed when their grocery bill doubles and nothing else changes. And calling deflection deflection isn't weak logic bro, that's literally what the word means, you just restated Vance's whole bit in more words 😂
