Dating apps turned US into product reviewers and nobody likes the product
Remember meeting someone because you were both in the same room. Now you meet someone because an algorithm decided you are both mildly compatible and bored. I have read more dating profiles this year than books and I could not describe a single one of them.
Everyone is comparison shopping. He is great but maybe the next swipe is greater. We built a system that makes every person feel replaceable, and then we act shocked when nobody commits.
