Nobody tells you this. A pile of AI subscriptions is not a productivity system, it is a monthly tax on your own indecision. You pay for four tools, you open one, and you use it for the same three prompts you already knew how to write yourself. Run the maths once and it stings. Cancel everything except the tool you open daily, spend the freed up hour learning that tool properly, and you will outproduce the guy with nine subscriptions before the next billing cycle. Tools do not compound. Skill compounds. Pick one, go deep, and stop paying rent on someone else's demo.

The math assumes we all open just one tool daily. Plenty of US actually need a writing model and a coding model because they are good at different things. Where is the evidence one tool covers both?
