Be honest, your camera roll is your only journal and you have never backed it up

Be honest. When did you last back up your phone. You did not. Everyone I know has ten thousand photos sitting on one device that could die in a toilet. That is not a memory keeping system. That is a countdown. I pay two dollars a month for cloud storage and it is the cheapest peace of mind I own. Nobody wants to hear it because it is boring. Boring is what saves your photos.

Mine's $1.99 a month for 100GB and it already saved me twice. Toilet, cracked screen, whatever, my photos were fine.

Fair, but 2TB on iCloud for a decade runs about $1,200. Cheap peace of mind adds up.
