be honest. calculators got banned once too. the essay was never about typing faster. it was about thinking. you can still think while a robot does the boring part, and honestly the robot explains the boring part better than the textbook did. what should get graded is whether you catch it when the machine is confidently wrong. that is a real skill and most adults do not have it. i will die on this hill. after i submit, obviously.
